The 1-day taster event at Lumiere London was a great success. The airy, inspiring loft studio gave guests plenty of room to enjoy the day's activity.

The BoxYoda team kicked things off with an energising warm up and stretching session by boxing coach Desmond.
Next up was Yogi Andre with a yoga class which beginners found challenging yet fun.
Desmond took back the helm for a 1 hour boxing training class allowing guests to try out their jabs, crosses, bobs and weaves while working in pairs.
A well deserved light, delicious and nutritious lunch was served up to keep the participants well fuelled.

Lunch consisted of:
O marinated breast of char grilled chicken with a yummy avocado salsa
O roast peppers stuffed with wild rice, vegetables and herbs.
O chick pea salad with parsley, coriander, roasted peppers and herbs
O green beans, tomatoes and shallots
O mixed julienned salad
O several platters of fresh fruit
After lunch, nutritionist Laura Church shared some of her impressive knowledge, experience and tips with the audience. She was able to explain about the best types of food to eat to achieve a long lean toned physique. Once Laura's questions and answers session was done, a short break was followed by the arrival of our sizzling salsa instructor Hazel, who really put the participants through their paces. Before the day was done she had complete beginners comfortably executing the mambo step and left/rights turns.
A big thank you goes out to all of the BoxYoda team mentioned already, to Mat who came all the way from Norwich, our hosts at Lumiere, Carole our massage therapist, all the other people who worked so hard to make the day a success and most importantly all of our guests.
